Our family & farm
The out-of-this-world idyll of Home Farm was too good to stay hidden for long... the Bradleys have lovingly and sustainably modernised the striking traditional buildings to create a stunning wedding space that they would love to share with you. A true family business, the sisters, Emma & Bec, ensure a personal, friendly service for the most memorable celebration, for you and your guests to feel relaxed and full of joy.
“That’s the one!” Those were the words uttered from the top of the drive by sisters Emma & Bec's Granny nearly 30 years earlier; and “I wouldn’t want to celebrate my marriage anywhere else” by Bec in 2016. And so, Home Farm became the family home and weddings in The Haybarn began…
We, too, hope these are the words you utter at first sight from the top of the drive of The Haybarn at Home Farm Dulas.
No longer suitable for modern farming, the one-of-a-kind red brick barn would have a new purpose creating wonderful memories of love, laughter & happiness. We love that we can share this magnificent space with you for the most special day of your lives.
An 1885 Victorian Model farm, the barns, originally for storing hay, look as they would have done decades ago through our love of restoration, repurposing authentic features and our drive for sustainability.
The family team are hugely privileged to be supported by fantastic people who care as much as us about what we do. It is this that we want to share with you and that we care about- to offer you and your guests a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience that you’ll treasure and leave with incredible everlasting memories.
Sustainability
We haven’t strayed far from our farming roots. Will & Maddy still farm in the most sympathetic way, managing the land through regenerative farming with sheep and cattle grazing the pastures. Other animals- the donkeys, horses, chickens, dogs and native black bees roam free on the farm. From our apple orchards, we make our own traditional cider, apple juice and apple cider vinegar.
Our sustainability goals are to offset our environmental impact as much as possible with the end goal to be self-sufficient.
~ regenerative farming
~ planting native trees where they historically used to be planted
~ working with local suppliers & people who share our philosophy
~ minimising produce miles
~ restoring & repurposing farm materials for any repairs & improvements
~ preserving the wonderful heritage of the ancient waterwheel which used to mill corn for the farm animals
~ solar panels on our farm buildings to produce electricity for the venue and accommodation
~ EV charger to facilitate use of electric vehicles
